2023 Women Leaders Josie Abboud

Abboud started her career at Methodist Health in 1996 as a critical care staff nurse. She held several leadership roles at the system over the next two decades before being appointed president and CEO of Omaha, Nebraska’s Methodist Hospital and Methodist Women’s Hospital. She recently oversaw an $18.6 million renovation project at Methodist Hospital, including the addition of two units. Abboud, an American College of Healthcare Executives fellow, has served on the boards of the Nebraska Hospital Association, American Cancer Society and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
