Sommerfeld spearheads efforts to forge relationships with a wide range of organizations. She oversaw a partnership with technology company Kumanu to launch a well-being solution for employers. And she led efforts to partner with Local Initiatives Support Corp. to bring economic opportunity and improve health outcomes in Toledo, Ohio, and the surrounding region over the next decade. That included a $14 million loan pool that helped fund projects to redevelop formerly vacant properties into residential, commercial and green spaces.
