2019 Most Influential Clinical Executives Dr. Bechara Choucair

Kaiser Permanente in May announced it will soon launch a care network that connects the system's more than 12 million members to community services that address their social needs. The Thrive Local initiative will be integrated into Kaiser's electronic health record, and will be rolled out regionally this summer, though the first location hasn't been announced yet. It’s one of several examples of how Choucair has helped position the Oakland, Calif.-based integrated delivery network to address social determinants of health. Choucair also co-chair's Kaiser's task force on reducing gun violence.
